Bliss is a new, modern and stylish hotel right next to the most beautiful beach you can imagine. There are a few beach chairs amidst palm trees on the bikini beach where it isn't too hot and where you can easily chill out for hours reading and snorkeling. Small shops that sell water and snacks are a stone's throw away. The bed in our room was comfortable, there was plenty of hot water, cleaning was undertaken when it best suited you and every member of the staff was always courteous. We loved our room at palm tops where we watched the bats fly around before they settled in for the night. We had prebooked the half board and realized how comfortable it was not having to venture out in darkness to find a restaurant. Most food options were ample and tasty. The only thing we would have wished for would have been more salads. The location is the best imaginable as it literally takes you 60 seconds to walk to the western beach side and you can walk or run along it to the tip of the island which we did every morning. We usually run barefoot but we got some blisters on the first day due to the sharp coral sand in some stretches so our tip is to bring thick sports socks and run in them or run in trainers along the road in the woods. There was even a small gym in which you could do bench press, free weights and squats. What has to mentioned too is that the transfers worked like a dream form Maamigili airport without the tiniest delay. If you would like to experience the beauty of the Maldives at a reasonable cost look no further. Bliss really lives up to its name.

Staff were exceptional. They were totally on top of things when our luggage failed to arrive on our flight, and they liaised with the airline and the speedboat guys who needed to transfer to out to Dighurah. Directed us to where we could buy a few basics to keep us going etc. When we were due to leave to move to a different part of the Maldives they were really pro-active with trying to sort out our transfers, despite the other place being really poor at communicating what time our flights would be etc. The hotel is fairly basic, but the rooms have everything you need and are kept really clean. The hotel is right next to the beach (the island is very narrow so I think most hotels are to be fair!) It was a really, really lovely week we spent there and I'd highly recommend both the Island and this particular hotel

From booking, arranging transfers, through to the stay itself the staff were very helpful and friendly. The rooms were exactly as expected, comfortable and very clean. We stayed half board for 9 days. The breakfasts were OK a daily special on a weekly rota with the option of eggs or cereal if you didn't like the special. All the meals we had in the restaurant were fine though the menu did get a little repetitive over 9 days, it would be nice to have a daily special in the evening to give a bit more variety. Special thanks to Sara and Sameer in the restaurant, always smiling, friendly and really helpful. We went on both the whale shark and Manta Ray excursions and were lucky to see both, the excursions were well organised and the crew seemed very experienced, we would recommend the trips.

Love the comforting feeling and homely vibes that my room, the food at Hermits (true comfort and healthy food!) and the staff consistently gave to me. I went during a low season and was still given quality attention and my suite was really amazing and spacious. Management and staff are very helpful, friendly and attentive across the board. Very family friendly location, locals are kind people, there is no alcohol served there as the Maldives is a muslim based country and this guesthouse is on a local island (not a issue for me but maybe others) As a solo female traveler I was safe and 24/7 there is always someone on the property. Love that I could walk 1 minute to an opening to the beach and a bikini beach was nearby.

The location is amazing!!! The island has a really long beach with crystal clear water that makes it feel like you are swimming on your own private beach. I stayed in the suite and would highly recommend for the extra space, balcony and bathtub. The food at Hermit’s is next level! Loved the calamari as well as the coconut ice-cream is a must. The staff were so lovely. Sanaj, Ravi, Prisma and Kadek were so kind for the whole trip. Definitely make sure that you try Zen Spa which is linked to Bliss. Denny was the best masseuse!! Absolutely loved my time at Bliss and wish I was already back. Loved the local island feel and I would highly recommend staying on Dhigurah
